End Of The Line

We are in Wapping for a few days to help daughter#1 out with the two boys as her husband is away on business. This time we have tried a different hotel, in Beckton rather than Barking. This has the advantage of being at the end of a DLR line, so we can easily get from the hotel to Wapping without having to drive. We have to collect Rory from school for the first time tomorrow so we had a practice run today. Once the boys were in bed we babysat so our daughter could go to the pub quiz, the first time she has been for over a year.

We didn't get back to the hotel until midnight but it was much better than driving as the Limehouse Link tunnel was closed, which makes the road route back to Beckton or Barking quite problematic.
