Bright Lights, Big Playroom

It was Little D's first day in the 'big boy' room at nursery. He's most definitely been ready for it for a while now and when he was taken into the room he immediately ran off, exploring every inch of the space both indoors and out, clearly delighted by his new surroundings. The 2-3 room is all about free play, the kids can choose what they want to do and when. I have no idea how the staff cope with 25 kids doing different things but they do and it works well. Miss A can testify to that!

When I picked Little D up he was desperate to pull me around the room, showing me all the cool and interesting things they had - and their collection of cars - the boy is in toy heaven! The only difficulty we'll have in this room is prising him out of it.
