Victoria Crowe
After being warned by Blip Central about the legality of copyrights I'm posting this more neutral image rather than any of the specific photos I took (without flash) of Victorias paintings.
I personally only liked her straight forward scenic paintings. The 'collagey' type didn't mean anything to me.
There was an encounter which rather maddened me so I think it was lucky I was too far away for it to be any of my business, or I may have made a scene. In one of the alcoves there were quite a few people obviously looking with great appreciation and seriousness at various paintings there.
Along came this loud voice with attitude of the arrogant kind and behind him a woeful-seeming man. So, right up to the front of all the pensive viewers and pushing his way in, this lip began pointing out to said woe, the attributes and meanings of Victorias works and showing how they are in fact joined by an invisible connection to each other and thereby analytically stole every tribute of the meaning of art as is to each individual. Stupid man but the worst was his absolute rudeness to all those people who had paid entry fees and then pushed aside as if they were not good enough.
