Nights are drawing in

Sad to see the lights on when I'm waiting at the bus stop after work. I like to look at the St Mary Le Strand church and think of my granny. She was a Wren (Women's Royal Naval Service) stationed in Northern Ireland during the war and this church is the official church of the Wrens. I don't know if she ever visited the church – she did come to London on occasion.
