Fading sunflower

This morning I went to the gym and hurried back to be in time for the glazier to arrive. The double glazing of three panes had broken down and needed replacing. He was over an hour late and I was just about to ring his office when he turned up. It looks much better now that the job's done so better late than never.

My blip is a close up of one of the sunflowers in the garden. They are dying but still look beautiful in a different way. I'm grateful to the birds for their gifts!
