Bursting Out

Not sure that I’ve ever seen one of these growing on the golf course before. It’s a Fly Agaric apparently, both poisonous and intoxicating. So pretty toxic then.

Met up with Keith at the tenpin in the afternoon, him being a founding member of our team back in the dim and distant past. Honours even, l thought the practice might do me good for our league match a couple of hours later. No such luck; I wasn’t rubbish but also wasn’t good enough and despite MrA’s fine efforts we slumped to yet another ignominious defeat. Relegation beckons already.
