Teetotal Tuesday

Another day of rain, then sun, then rain. Walked up by the park and we were wrapped up ready for the rain,  but it stayed dry and we ended up feeling very hot .
Rain came as we got home, good timing.

Spent the afternoon editing photos for my Camera course and debating if any were good enough to enter for a local photography competition. Some may have been good re content and composition but I wasnt happy with clarity of focus etc or realised they'd have looked better in different light. I'm not at the stage of taking the photos I'd love to take but at least am beginning to recognise what I think makes a good photo..and I'm enjoying the learning process.

The sun hinted it may come out at teatime so I took Fletch out, I didnt expect to get under the railway bridge but the water level had dropped away from the path. This was due to someone pumping out the water into a tanker and emptying up into the dock.
The sun was shining but it was extremely windy. I thought I d take a few possible blip photos but the wind was so strong it was hard to keep still and avoid camera shake. But we reached the sea wall and in the end took this quick snap of the gate, which I rather like as its a cheerful yellow and I like the fish design. Heading back home for 6:30 and the sun was almost setting. It was good to do this walk at this time of day before it gets too dark to do it.

No wine tonight.. I dont drink every night actually and then if I do it's often only a glass, but our friends came round..lots of chatting and laughing and a few glasses. ..and a late night. So I'm being good and sticking to water... 'Adams ale ' Cheers anyway
