Fire bug

I hadn't seen these all summer, but suddenly while autumn has defnitely started the whole hibiscus shrub is covered with them. Apparently they're not pests damaging the plants, so I'll let them be. They do look cheerful and they have giant  masks on their backs. Full name: Pyrrhocoris apterus or European firebug. For Tiny Tuesday with thanks to Barking for hosting this month
