Sulphur Tuff Nursery

After a busy weekend, and a not too promising weather forecast, I took a more relaxing trip out to a local heathland area, Witley Common. This is renown for its fungii. and the wooded areas would give some shelter from any showers.

I haven't seen too many fungii so far this season, and today wasn't really any better, but I found this lovely little nursery clump of Sulphur Tuffs glistening in the rain.  The extra is is an even wetter clump forming fungus, possibly one of the caps.
