Hedgerow jewels

These lovely little berries are from the spindle berry bush which has bright red leaves just before they fall.

Today I've spent most of my time tidying up the hedge around the wild flower meadow after it was trimmed by a tractor mounted flail. It rained on and off throughout the day but only lightly until a downpour whilst I was doing an extra job after work.

I'm now at the night shelter where it has been a very quiet evening.
