Snowshill St George (OCB19)

I was at Snowshill Manor in the Cotswolds today - with the weather being so drab I did think it might be difficult to find a colourful blip but this St George and Dragon looked to be a good subject.  I have to say, if I had a dragon curling it's tail around my legs, I might well have drawn my sword earlier?

St George is on the side of the cottage, Charles Paget Wade lived in,  he bought the manor after WW1 to house his collection. Clearly an eccentric, I did wonder what had made him want to amass such an eclectic collection of often unconnected things.
