Birthday Treat

Treated the birthday boy to Afternoon Tea at Gleneagles and the sun shone all afternoon!  The food was excellent, as always, but today the service left a lot to be desired.  We waited 10 minutes for some hot water and then had to ask a second server as the first one had forgotten!  Long delays between courses, even though it wasn't especially busy.  Disappointing when it is so expensive and meant to be a treat. I think we'll stick to the Balmoral another time:-)
