Seasonal crop

Chris has picked all (except a couple of tiny ones) of the gourds from our experimental plant. They aren’t very big - the thumbnail one is the biggest being slightly bigger than a tennis ball - but they are quite interesting I think and look seasonal.
So I put them in a bowl for a blip. They have been drying in the green house and I might offer them for decorations for next week’s church harvest service.
As is the trend these days food bank non perishables will be the requested donations to celebrate harvest.
Speaking of seasonal we are well on with our programme of Christmas songs at our Monday morning Community Sing. Need to get going with church carols soon!
