Over Dose

Possibly winter barley, with a red covering which normally would be pesticides/insecticides to get the seed off to a "good" start. However, I learnt on Friday that even organic farmers often use coated seeds as modern sowing machines need the extra size to work in the drilling machines. So can't be sure in this case. I just hope the wild birds aren't tempted.
