Mural underway

Pat is busy working on a mural in the green bathroom of our guest bedroom and a detail is the Blipfoto for today.

It is based on an arts and craft tile entitled August. There is a second mural in the room based on a similar tile called April.

Over 30 years or so we have offered a "home link’’ arrangement to overseas University Students and this evening we attended St Andrews University Befriending Supper to be introduced to our two students for this year. They are Sherry and Michelle from Taiwan.

The Supper was hosted in All Saints Episcopal Church Hall.The Befriending Project is run by the University Chaplaincy Centre.

The extra shows Sherry and Michelle dancing the Gay Gordon’s, a Scottish Country Dance. Next on the programme was Strip the Willow. A brief lesson in Scottish Country Dancing is a great way to "break the ice" and form friendships.
