Scarlet Honeyeater
Scarlet Honeyeaters arrive for a week or so and then go. They are the size of a canary and sound a lot like one as well. They are swift overactive little folk and are difficult to photograph. The male is bright red and black the female brownish and more difficult to spot. The main photo is of the female with a poor image of the male as an extra, both of which I got today. I will be trying to get better ones over the next week.
