Ohio Mart 2019

A friend invited me to join her at the Seiberling family estate known as Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in  Akron today for an annual event.  She was especially interested in seeing the array of needle arts (embroidery, quilting, Irish lacemaking, etc.)  spinning, weaving, knitting, and so forth.  Several guilds displayed samples  and members demonstrated their crafts.  Outside were dozens of artisans and food vendors.   The gardens were beautiful and still full of color.  We had a wonderful afternoon together, strolling for hours.
