Back to school

Kids are back in school and they came home in a lovely mood. Gorgeous. I'd made them jam tarts and was half way through a sewing project.
Little One asked if she could have some fabric and got her little sewing kit and came and did some bits of sewing with me whilst Littlest watched TV. It was really lovely and made me smile a lot.
My "day" had vanished as usual. Hoovering, clearing up, sorting out, a bit of sewing, a 2.5 mile dog walk. It's amazing how you can fill 5.5 hours between school runs. It's was nice to have some space though to get things done whilst the kids weren't around. Then they had my attention when they were at home. I let them off spellings and reading for one night. We'll catch up tomorrow..
I'm exhausted tho, a 5am wake up is taking its toll and I had a weird headache most of the day.
Mr KP got back a little while ago, earlier than I expected and dinner will be ready in 15 mins.
I'm trying to stay awake so that I can dish it up!
