My pops told my mom that he didn't want to celebrate their ruby wedding anniversary because he had discovered he had a brain tumour. What mom didn't know was that he was planning something else. On the day of the anniversary, my mom was presented with a card that said "can't believe it's been 40 years. Most marriages end in cheating and lying. The only cheating I want to do is cheating death. The only lying I want to do is lying next to you. Will you marry me again today?"
