A statue with a message

Back at Derby Cathedral to photograph the amazing statue that arrived this week. 100,000 bladed weapons. A statue with a message.
The Knife Angel was made from weapons collected in knife banks during police surrenders across the UK. It is raising awareness and discussion about knife crime and will hopefully persuade youths not to carry a knife. The backbone has quite spine chilling weapons, see second extra. Relatives of knife crime victims were invited to engrave the blades with names and messages for their loved ones.


The crowds to see the moon (yesterdays blip) it's last day in residence were so big that some people just turned away.
