Restaurant nr Congres Metro Station

We had lunch in Tasca y Vins today - a big bustling place, which Bb discovered recently when he went to this area for a meeting, which was cancelled. What you see here is just one of four or five rooms, all of a similar size. What we hadn't realised was that today was the 'fiesta mayor' of this barrio and so it was packed today!! We enjoyed the family atmosphere though and were impressed with the quality of the food. We had snails and fried fish for starters (two separate dishes), then little lamb chops for Bb and duck a l'orange for me. Both very good. Then crema catalana. We'll go back on a normal Sunday. Excellent value for money!
