Split

Roman Emperor Diocletian built a palace in Split in 295AD...the remains have been transformed into a warren of houses, tenements, churches and chapels, cafes, bars and tourist shops. It has a marvellous modern seafront, too.

We walked up high to the Marjan peninsula to look down on the town, and to get this blip.

Clear blue sky all day...29C.

We are off to see some waterfalls tomorrow!
