Wet Sunday

It has been a drippy sort of day. My only venture outside was to bring in the wheelie bins after they'd been emptied. That's when I noticed all the raindrops on the whirligig.

For my meal this evening I'm trying a new recipe of braised Morrocan spiced lamb. It's been in a low oven for a few hours now, so I'm expecting it to be beautifully tender along with some roasted veg and mashed sweet potato.

The last time I roasted a piece of lamb, several months ago, a certain naughty kitten got hold of it, so at least I don't need to worry about that happening this time.

But first, a wee glass of vino. Slainte!
