Apple day

Apple day has become an annual fixture in our calendar. The pressure was on with being the defending champion for the baking contest.... so not a good time to discover the oven thermostat to be significantly off! But I still managed to produce some highly commended apple macaroons and thankfully they also had a preserve competition this year. Very pleased with my rosehip and apple jelly which won me a golden apple :-)
