Me & my shadow..............

A dry day, so J was happy he could go out on his motorcycle. Des texted me to say he wasn't going so I did the sprint with Chris, who only visits on a Sunday. The ground was too wet to walk home in my trainers, and the fields were saturated. I am going to have to re-think my route home in future. As I was standing by the river taking this photo, I looked to the other side and saw  a Kingfisher flying really low just above the waters edge. I have never seen one before, and he was too fast to photograph, but the sighting made my day.  It was a windy walk home, but the sun is still shining and my washing is dry, so all is good.
