The Miracle of Christmas 2

It's officially over and the decorations are being taken down from the streets of the Costa.

J has left for Scotland and is currently over northern Spain.

Term has started with a bang and a shock for teachers and pupils in equal measure.

But the most amazing thing about the whole Christmas period is that my poinsettia hasn't yet shriveled up and died!

It has been a wonderful three weeks and I felt a little deflated this morning. But not for long. The thrill of being back in the classroom, the warmth of the sun on my face when I walked along the beach before lunch and the enjoyment of a little me-time this evening have soon put me back in a good mood.
