A spot of rain

Recent days have been pretty wet and today continued the pattern. Rather than stay home, camera idle, I dug out my waterproof clothing and (bravely) set off on my usual Sunday walk.

Technical note: for right handed people - rest the umbrella handle in the front right pocket of the coat and steady it with the crook of the right elbow. Both hands can then operate the camera / phone while the umbrella shields it from the downpour. Left handed people can adapt the technique accordingly and the ambidextrous may please themselves.
