Unsettled

It’s been seriously wet overnight but in a drier patch, I went over to Elford Walled Garden. I wanted to see if they’d cut back any of their buddleias. They had. They’ve cropped the higher branches but not done a full prune. That’s what I’m doing.

Rain was threatening. Dark skies overhead. This shot was from inside the little pavilion in the sensory garden. I couldn’t risk the steps (on advice) down to the bird hide.

It was darkening further so I headed home. Still no further rain - yet.
