Shining of Sinks

I did two new years resolutions....one....get thinner.....two....get tidier.

The first is not going well. I went to the party last night and ate a huge plateful but I never could resist a buffit.

The second one.......Flylady (who i have mentioned before) is leading the way.

Flylady is all very American and its very chipper and well naff.

Its all based on routines and decluttering....finaly loving yourself and other such slogans.

However as I am terminally slattern in my tendencies it does work. The question is how long for?!?!

As for the photo well at the end of each day you have to shine your sink. Even if you fail on everything then remember to shine your sink.

So here is my shiny sink.

This afternoon I sat in a dark music cupboard and tuned ten ukuleles in various colours. It would have made a much better blip but I forgot my camera.

There is always next week though!

I am running a lunchtime ukulele club for 15 children over two groups. It went well. It was an unknown quantity but I have an idea now of capabilities etc so next week is going to be fab!!!!

The school offered to pay me again but I prefer to do it voluntarily...it saves me having to enter the scary world of the PTA as unfortunately there is no-one like Mrs Withers on the board. ;) x
