Amongst the uppermost branches

A brisk walk to Western Springs Lake and back. While there I saw two Australian magpies fly into a tree, one going almost to the very top. 

On the way back I stopped at the Post Shop to collect the mail, and to post our voting papers for the Local Body election which is a postal ballot closing at midday next Saturday. Unfortunately, we can't vote for daughter J. And there are no Green Party candidates in our ward.
