There and back again

Long gone are the days when I used my wife's red washing up bowl over a bulb, for a safe light to print an image from a 35mm film

Its been a dank day here today I have been going through some images and printed a few off. Today its a computer, some software a black plastic box (the printer) and eight little containers of ink and some photographic paper for inkjet printing

Even though you don't get the moment when that print appears in your developing dish I still get a buzz when my prints rolls out of the printer and you see that you have in fact, captured what appears on your screen

I tend to print my A3 prints to fit into a 400 x 500mm matte which is the standard size for competition prints and also fits all my frames but I do enjoy the ease at which I am able to make prints and mount them to fit any frame I want.
