My Magic Kingdom

Sandy Stretch

After a lovely big breakfast this morning we were off to the beach. The boys and Mr G got in the sea and battled the waves and T and I organised an umbrella. The sand was so hot you had to keep your sandals on. It was a scorcher with a strong wind blowing. The sea had a strong backwash and bluebottles today but the guys didn't want to get out of the water. I am busy reading a Jeffery Archer novel and got comfortable under the red Vodacom umbrella to read a few chapters.

S bought a net and tried to catch some fish on the rocks. But the tide was in and the rock pools were not very visible. We will go back early tomorrow morning and try again.

Once we got tired of the beach we went up to the pool and cooled off! Then we lounged on the yellow deck chairs and Mr G and I even dozed off for a while. Its so relaxing having no real agenda.

Later this afternoon Mr G took the boys to fix their bicycles and check out the motorbike shops in the area. I decided to open up my computer and get my lesson planning started. I have so many ideas and the trick is to get them all on paper now in an organised fashion. I am on Week 3!
