Swan Lake's Odette

A trip to Covent Garden to see Agrippina (it was wonderful)

Wandering around before was this display case with a tut that was designed for Odette for the May 2018 new production of Swan Lake..  The explanation sheet said:

"John Macfarlane designed all 65 costumes.  Around 400 costumes were made by the costume department in Covent Garden and in Thurrock, including this Odette tutu and headpiece.  Each tutu takes around 160 hours to sew and requires 100 metres of net"

Explains the price of tickets doesn't it!
