Sunrise

I leave home on a Friday morning at 7:15 AM in an effort to get to The Wildlife Center of Virginia by 8:00. At this point in the year - before we go back to standard time - that means the sun is rising as I'm driving. This morning the sunrise was gorgeous. It was a lot better a bit earlier in the drive than at this point when I finally found a place I could both pull over safely and get a clear shot of the sky, but this will have to do. Today it wasn't as hot as it has been for the past several days (it's been 20 degrees above normal for this time of year), and we are expecting a cold front to come in tonight. Phew! And now all we need is some rain! Maybe Sunday, they say.
