A Zoo Duck

My son contacted us this morning to tell us that little Xander's daycare was canceled due to a broken pipe in the building.  As a result, he took the day off from work and wanted to know if we had an interest in going to the National Zoo with them.  My husband was under the weather, but I jumped at the opportunity.  It wasn't the best photo outing, since I wanted to spend time with them and not the camera, but I managed to get a few shots.  Then we headed to lunch before everyone went home for a nap.
