FAN FRETS

I volunteered to fret this fingerboard for CC & although I says it as shouldn't I did a pretty good job!

I played as a professional guitarist for fifteen-odd years  using parallel frets. If you follow this through to "Shebeg an Shemor", you'll hear something I'm quite proud of!

"Fan frets" are trendy - the theory is that the treble strings , being shorter give a brighter, tighter sound & the bass strings, being longer have a bit more boom! There is also the fact that fan frets follow the angle of the left hand on the fingerboard...
