The Old Barking House

Back in the day when there was a fishing industry in Lochranza, this was the Barking House where the nets were mended. You can see from the entry on the Buildings at Risk Register for Scotland that the roof used to be at least partially still there. Shot carefully taken to avoid the danger notices on the door! We used to play in here as kids. Nice morning catching up with an old school friend at the village parent and toddler group, then lunch with my sister and Callum at the Distillery.
