Lacy Birthday Bug

I think this is going to be my 6th Blip Birthday and of course there was  nothing interesting to be had today so I decided to do a Flower Friday.

I was lucky to get a photobomber which obligingly stayed while I fetched the tripod for some in-camera focus stacking. 
It was a bit windy but not a bad result for such a tiny critter. I doubt it was 3 mm long. You couldn't see the lacy wings with the naked eye.

As the magnolia was such a brilliant colour I'll also tag it for hobbs's colour challenge.
