Chamerel Waterfall

Most people visit the falls by car and have their photo taken from a platform.

We booked a guide and trekked down the gorge to the bottom of the falls themselves. It was steep and slippy but we made it. What a spectacular and very private view we got from the bottom!

Thousand of swallows had built nests in a cave down there and were flying in and out to feed.

Later we found a secluded beach and had a wonderful dinner with some new friends.

I'm planning to backblip the last few photos as I've been enjoying my holiday too much to even try to choose a photo each day.
