Niagra Falls

A bit more water than Goit Stock on Monday!
We've had a great day in the company of H and her husband T, B and H first met at junior school in Pudsey (a long time ago!!)
We got the double decker GO train to meet up with them and our first stop was at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum where they are both volunteers, great to have 2 guides showing us around, we got to see the Lancaster that they have there up close.
Then it was on to Niagra where we had lunch in the Skylon revolving restaurant with great views of both sides of the falls. After lunch we got close to the horseshoe falls and journeyed behind the falls, amazing to witness the power of the water!
They then took us to the pretty town of Niagra-on-the-Lake where we strolled down the Main Street and admired the lovely independent and varied shops.
A great day and good company too.
