The Island of St Nikola

We had a guided bus tour of the local Montenegrin coast by a young student who was passionate about his county’s history. It is very interesting.

Walking tour of Budva old town including small maritime museum, the citadella, St Trinity church and the archaeology museum highlighting the effects of the big earthquake in 1979. There are many lovely jewellery shops here with blue and green gems - but I averted my eyes as I love nice jewellery and didn’t want to blow the budget on day one.
