Gozo salt pans.

Formed by Phoenicians, renovated by Romans, and propagated by Gozitans, today we visited (actually we stumbled across) the world’s oldest working salt pans.

Rather than have a plan for seeing the sights of the island of Gozo, we just disembarked the ferry and drove away from the tourists. It worked out just fine.
