Off to Arisaig

Early start to head to Livingston for a pre-op assessment for Mr PHL (before his nose job) - the city bypass is often a car park before 9 and we didn’t want to be late! Arrived at 9 (phew!) to be told the appointment was yesterday - oh dear. Luckily got it rearranged for next month but doh how did we get that wrong?

So nipped off for some breakfast before heading off to the west coast. Easy drive (as I wasn’t driving and was able to get on with my cross stitch)

Arrived mid afternoon and are parked on the edge of a beach - blip is of views through Glencoe and then past Fort William before looking out over Eigg and Rhum - the very blurry photo is the Jacobite steam train which runs between Fort William and Mallaig.

Lovely meal with friends and about to get tucked up as it is blowing a hooley outside - 50mph winds forecast overnight. Wish us luck.
