A simple rose.....

....... but one that I am delighted to see . In the year 2000 my very dear friend , Cath, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Even now , I can’t begin to describe how I felt .
Cath was , and is , a very positive person and overcame all the treatment she had to go through. At the time I gave her a rose bush and said if it survived she would.

Today we were meeting up in Glasgow as we do regularly with friends. (Extra pic) Cath presented me with this rose and reminded me of the gift I gave her 19 years ago. I was delighted
the rose bush was still blooming and Cath was still here to tell the tale. A better friend I could not have.
