Gambolling

As darkness started to drop I had a final look round the garden and all was quiet. A slight movement caught my eye and there were three roe deer in the field.

Running like a maniac upstairs onto the balcony with a long lens I managed to get a few shots without alerting them and simultaneously keeping the dogs out of the way. 

My Roe deer stag was run over by a car right outside our house and the body horribly left on the verge outside the gate a few weeks ago. It must have been a blue car as the paint and bodywork was all over our fence which had five fence panels missing. A very upsetting scenario and so Iwas particularly ecstatic to see this little family so close to home!
