there was a break - in the weather - while i was out running errands - it had begun overcast and cold - windy, too and i thought it would rain - but then suddenly the clouds - broke, the sun poked through - and i thought this - is my moment - i need to seize it

so lookit what happened - i haven’t been very fortunate - with my favorite bird - this summer, only capturing - it once in a random sighting - at my mama’s house - during a visit but now - here i managed a second - fabulous quick shot before - it noticed me and took flight - the sun providing a wonderful - back light for me - to showcase his beauty - what better way to make it..
