Sunrise Surprise!

Don't let the shadows of yesterday spoil the sunrise of tomorrow. There has been many a literal shadow this week with the abysmal weather and darker evenings, but the sunrise this morning was truly spectacular.

A busy, busy day with a morning trip to Shibden Hall with my class as part of our topic on Houses and Homes. We only made it back to school for 1:10pm...dinner time had finished!! Panic not, food was still available and nothing like eating it in the classroom to add more excitement to the day! It made the afternoon seem incredibly short!!

The children really enjoyed the trip, particularly dusting all the wood work! One of the lady's who works at the hall commented to the teaching assistant that the children were very well behaved, a pleasure to have and welcome back any time! :-) Fab to hear. :-D
