Detail from a very nice plant sent to W as a gift from her sister and which arrived today.

Another few hours spent at the hospital this afternoon for further diagnosis.  The good news is that the splint is off although she will still need crutches for a couple of weeks yet.  The bad news is that the issue with W's knee is probably linked to an underlying problem she has had for a while and which is gradually getting worse.  There is a possibility it will happen again and ultimately she will almost certainly need a knee replacement.  But not just yet.

Once again, apologies for not commenting.  I will try and catch up at the weekend, Rugby World Cup and my own team's local derby permitting!
