Lovely Ashley

You've met my lovely CPN pal Ashley before. As we slid into the dark I these days seem to slid into depression. My ever helpful GP referred me back to the Community team . I was very glad that it was someone that I already know that has started to visit me regularly.

I'm telling you all this deliberately as a attempt to de-stigmatise mental health.

I was encouraged yesterday to watch Parliament debate and pass to 2 nd reading the Domestic Violence Bill. Introduced by now, back bench member Theresa May.  There was a very moving, intelligent, cross-party debate that was so heartening to see. 2 members shared their own experience of domestic violence,  which felt a privilege to listen to.
