The Moon and Other Bright Lights

On the way into the theater to see Madeleine Peyroux. I'm so completely taken with the Billie Holiday gleam in her voice and phrasing. The concert is my consolation prize for the absence of our friends--ExtraDays and company left this morning and the empty house takes some getting used to.
